Virginia BMX Show School Assembly

We made the drive directly from touring in California and our first stop on the East Coast was Fredericksburg, VA. We made our way to Parkside Elementary on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. This time we split the student body into two groups, the lower grades and the upper grades. Start times were spaced an hour apart, allowing at least 15 minutes between the two assemblies for students to transition in and out. The bus loop made for a great setup area and the riders made the most of it! Along with the great action on our ramps, riders also gave words of wisdom to students on bullying, keeping a positive mindset, staying focused in school, and using failure as a way to learn, which riders have mastered through BMX. Students are encouraged to pick their own skillset to build on and to apply the same mindset as our riders for success. It was a really great time!
